Your book club president is also a multiple-published author. Tell us about her books and what it’s like to have a writer in the club.
Yes, her first series is titled Appearances. It’s drama filled suspense novels about people who pretend to be something they are not and the lengths they go to protect it. It’s extremely exciting to have an actual author as our president.
Do you serve drinks at club meetings? If yes, what’s a club-recommended drink?
Yes, we definitely recommend wine.
Do you serve food? If so, what’s a club-recommended dish?
Yes, we usually will do a dinner or several appetizers.
What are your club’s tips and recommendations for someone who is thinking about starting or joining a book club?
We have gone to The National Book Club Conference in Atlanta. It has been the most rewarding trip so far. You get a chance to meet authors and connect with book clubs across the country.
